He grew up in Katy, Texas going to Katy Elementary until the 5th grade playing Little League T-ball, baseball and American soccer. He then attended Katy Junior High playing 1 yr. of American football, track, and basketball and Little League American soccer. After Junior High attended Katy High School where he played two seasons of American football in the 9th and 11th grade & three years of Spring ball until he hung up his cleats and was in FFA for 3yrs where he was on the Dairy Judging Team, alternat on the Junior Parliament Procedure Team, raised a FFA pig for show in 1985.
